Bullying needs to be stopped

The topic is bullying. There are many bullies around the world. I'm going to talk about Berwyn bullies. The bullies bully others because they have been bullied before or their parents treat them bad. Some people bullied before but they have stopped because they learned what causes to the victim. The victims can sometimes kill themselves because they can't take it anymore. There are many stories on people who kill themselves because of bullies. There was this kid named Thomas who was bullied. This was in 2013. They tried to strangle him, poke him, they also called him names like fatso and gay boy. Guess what happened! He took painkillers and died of a heart attack. Everybody was sad because that kid was very smart in class that's why they picked on him. This is a big issue because people can get hurt. A lot of people don't like bullies because their so mean they can hurt you from the inside and the outside. People who bully can either get expelled or in a lot of trouble. They can get in trouble with the police because bullying is very serious with them. Mostly the bullies are teens because they know what they're doing but they don't really care. Some little kids rarely bully. A lot of people don't like bullies so they would stand up to bullies. People say that they seen others get bullied but didn't do nothing about it. Most kids would stand up to a bully because they don't tolerate them. What people should do is when they see a bully they should immediately tell a teacher. When they get caught they should get expelled because he will learn from that and he wouldn't do it again. Every school in Berwyn should do that. Everybody thinks bullying is wrong because people had died from that. We want to put a stop to it so we have to do everything to get bullies extinct. We need kids to tell on bullies so it can be over already. Schools need to do a survey to get all the bullies in the school. If your against bullying you should put an end to it. We surveyed some of the kids at HMS and I asked 4 questions. One was "did you ever see someone get bullied?" 16 people said yes and 6 people said no. Bullying is everywhere, even if you're at a good school there's at least someone getting bullied. kids want this to be over because they feel like bullying is gonna grow bigger since this world is getting worse. Let everybody know, SPREAD THE WORD






Ms Suarez's seizure

There was this 7th grade teacher who had a seizure. Everybody was worried that she had one. It was spring time and it was morning. She was teaching language arts and this kid asked, "are you ok Ms Suarez "and she just said she was dizzy. She looked really sick after 1st period.

 When 1st period was over and she dismissed her class she was out in the hallway and she was next to a teacher named Ms Gardner. They were having a chat about their classes. Then she looked funny to Ms Gardner. Ms Gardner asked her "are you feeling ok?", and then she fell on the ground just like that !

 Ms Gardner was trying to help her. This kid was telling other teachers because it was something serious. Every 7b teacher went there on the quicks. The teachers were telling everybody to go to class. The ambulance came and the paramedics picked her up. The teachers took long to get back to teach the classrooms. Ms Gardner said she almost hit her head on a desk that was outside the hallway. If she would of hit the desk she would of busted her head and bleed. 

2 days later she returned to her and we gave some love to her. We all asked her if she's feeling good

What Changed My Life

It was Thursday at 3 PM and my mom dropped me off at this retreat because I acted bad. I was disrespecting everybody it didn't matter who. I got into fights too. I was nervous because I didn't know what was gonna happen or what they are going to do. I saw a lot of the workers packing our bags. The retreat was like 30 minutes away. It looked like a school because it had like a stage, rooms to sleep in, a cafeteria and a kitchen. The retreat was for kids that were bad. I saw a lot of people and they were from other cities like Joliet, Aurora, Cicero ad Berwyn. I knew some of the kids. We went on a bus and it took us far. I went to that place before with my parents. When we got there the workers were telling us their names. They told us not to talk the first day. I didn't really care because I didn't know anybody. We ate lunch quietly. Then we went to sleep with our own stuff. We had 3 rooms and 30 slept in each one. They were teaching us some life lessons but I didn't really care. The reason I went there was because I had an attitude with everybody and I was a trouble maker. I made a lot of friends over there that had the same problem with me. The workers were telling us about their life. Some had good lives and some had bad ones. Some went to jail when they were young. They told us if we wanted to become like them. All of the kids said no. They had plays and in one of them I almost cried because it was so sad. It was about these 5 kids were in heaven and they were being born and the angel took them because their mom was giving birth but 1kid didn't make it because his parents aborted him. They told us that, that could've been us. I saw a lot of people crying. The workers told us if we needed to talk to them. They told us if we don't get our act together we can end up dead or in jail. If you do bad stuff you can end up in jail or dead. One of the workers got arrested when he was 9. Our parents sent a picture to them and they showed it to us and ripped it in front of our faces and a lot of people were crying again. That place thought you to always be good to everyone so u can have the same respect and not do bad things. I didn't want to leave because I had so much fun, I made a lot of friends and I also liked the workers. It changed how I thought because the workers convinced us, they didn't want us to end up like them great time.
