Best gift

It was a Thursday on thanksgiving morning. My dad woke us all up, so like my siblings. I have 4 siblings plus me. My dad woke us all up and he told us to get dressed because we were going somewhere. So we did and we didn't know where we were going. We thought he was going to pay his bills or something but he wasn't. We went inside the sprint store and ask the lady if he could get 6 lines and 6 iPhone 6s were all so happy. We waited long because they had to do a process. 1 by 1 each we got our phones but we had to exchange our pictures and date into the iPhone so it took longer. We each picked a color I picked rose gold because that's the only way you can tell it's the iPhone 6s. My dad wasn't use to it because he had a Samsung Galaxy 6 edge. I was like the 4th to get it. We were in there for at least 2 hours because we had T-Mobile now we have sprint and they had to switch our data and stuff like that. We traded in our phones. When we went home I gave my dad a hug because he gave us iPhones. But I don't think I'm gonna get a lot of stuff for Christmas. He told me that were not getting a lot of stuff for Christmas. I was sad but happy at the same time because I didn't really care.

Plot for homeboys

In the story homeboys there was this guy named teddy whos sister wanted to be a gangbanger for the merks 22. When she was getting a hotdog, a car comes and there was a drive by their rivals that's called o-one-o. This was on page 8. Teddy wanted revenge so he started plotting on the o-one-o. He jumped 3 guys on their block but the cops came and he got caught with many charges. He gets community service and has to be with a kid that wants to gang bang in the future. Teddy wants to hack the computer system to steal their money and leave after his parole. The kid and teddy start getting closer and he starts to tell him things like who killed his sister and what gang did it. "It wasn't o-one-o who killed your sister t.b. Homeboys who did it, they was from the serpent team". So then teddy looks for the guy in serpent street. Then he knew his name, his name was mumzy b he had a dirty sheet. Teddy was going to kill him but he didn't want revenge so he didn't kill him. "Why dog, why ain't you icin me" said mumzy b " because I don't want revenge". He was gonna get killed anyway because he was gonna snitch. " serpent street put a green light on you" that means he was gonna kill him. Teddy then fights eevil in a brawl in page 268. He finishes his community service and his family adopts the kid Micah. 

The message of homeboys

The message of the book homeboys by Alan Lawrence sitomer is that revenge is always not the answer. The reason I picked this theme is because the teddy wanted to kill the guy who killed his sister but didn't want to. The guy said "why aint you icin me?" He replied back "I don't want revenge". Revenge wasn't the key for him. This was on page 264. This proves that teddy only wanted his sister back not the guy killed.
